Attending the conference were Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Standing Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor, along with representatives from 34 newly established grassroots trade unions.
At the conference, representing the union members, Ms. Cung Thi Quynh Hoa - Deputy Head of the Health Station and President of the Trade Union of Vinh Tuy Ward Health Station - expressed gratitude for the attention and support of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor. She stated that once the Trade Union organization is operating stably, the Vinh Tuy Ward Health Station Trade Union will closely coordinate with the government to promptly address the legitimate aspirations of its members, implement emulation movements, create motivation to improve work efficiency, and at the same time, take good care of the material and spiritual lives of its members.

Highly appreciating the results of establishing new grassroots trade unions, Mr. Tong Van Bang emphasized that this event demonstrates concern for ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time contributes to building stable and sustainable labor relations at the units.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation - briefly informed about the operation of the Capital Labor Union after the reorganization. He affirmed that despite the large workload and small staff, the City Labor Federation is always a pioneer and responsible in carrying out political tasks; at the same time, accompanying grassroots unions to effectively deploy functions and tasks.
Regarding the 34 newly established grassroots trade unions that received their decisions, Mr. Le Dinh Hung requested that the units promptly prepare for the organization of their Trade Union Congresses, while also effectively fulfilling their core functions: representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; building harmonious and democratic labor relations within agencies and units; and supporting the sustainable development of agencies, units, and enterprises.
The establishment of 34 grassroots trade unions with more than 2,100 members further affirms the determination of the Hanoi Trade Union organization in expanding its network, enhancing its representative role, and accompanying workers, contributing to building a strong workforce to meet the development requirements of the city.
