Establishment of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union and Trade Union of Party agencies of Quang Nam province

The Provincial People's Committee Trade Union was established under Decision No. 27, dated March 7, 2025 of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL).

This is an important milestone, marking the beginning of a grassroots trade union organization directly under the Provincial Federation of Labor. The Provincial People's Committee Trade Union has 48 affiliated units with 6,490 union members working and studying at the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and schools.

There are 11 union officials who have been trusted, selected and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold key positions of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union for the period 2025 - 2028. Mr. Tran Quoc Bao - former Chairman of the Provincial Civil Servants Trade Union holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union.

Also at the conference, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to establish the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union with 20 affiliated grassroots trade unions and 688 union members.

At the same time, 9 Executive Committee members, 3 Standing Committee members and 3 Inspection Committee members were appointed. Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh was appointed as President of the Provincial Party Agencies' Trade Union.

In his speech assigning tasks, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Phan Xuan Quang requested that units immediately start developing programs and plans to implement activities; and develop working regulations in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Units continue to direct the arrangement of grassroots unions when arranging administrative units and professional agencies, ensuring unity and synchronization.

* Previously, the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decisions to dissolve theEducation , Construction, Healthcare, and Civil Servants Unions. At the same time, the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the above-mentioned unions were terminated.

The grassroots trade unions and union members are transferred to be directly under the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union, Trade Unions of Provincial Party agencies and Labor Federations of districts, towns and cities.
