Aiming to support crime prevention and control in the province, Phu Tho province has established, managed and used the Crime Prevention and Control Fund.

Yen Lap district leaders commend Yen Lap district police for outstanding achievements in crime prevention and control

The Crime Prevention Fund will be used to reward groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in crime prevention and control according to the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman. The maximum cash reward for individuals is 5 million VND/individual/time and for groups is 20 million VND/group/reward.

In addition, the fund will support compensation and emergency subsidies according to the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for families and people directly involved in crime prevention and control and drug prevention and control who suffer loss of life, health and property. The expenditure level is implemented according to current regulations.

The Crime Prevention Fund is a non-budgetary state financial fund; the charter capital upon establishment of the Fund is supported by the State budget and supplemented by legal voluntary funding and contributions from organizations and individuals.

The Provincial Police is the unit that assists the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in managing, operating and using the Crime Prevention and Control Fund according to regulations. This Decision takes effect from November 5, 2024.
