Thanh Mien, Tu Ky, Gia Loc and Hai Duong City do not have multi-purpose gymnasiums yet.

The lack of multi-purpose sports and training facilities makes it difficult to organize large-scale training, competition, and social activities. The environment, locations, and conditions for physical education and sports training are also limited.

Localities often have only one central cultural center that integrates with meetings and other activities, leading to many overlapping activities; preparation for these activities is also difficult. Meanwhile, funding for organizing cultural and sports activities remains limited.

On the morning of June 18th, the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council continued its survey in Hai Duong City regarding this matter.

On March 23, 2023, Hai Duong Online Newspaper published an article titled "Disadvantages of Villages and Residential Areas Without Cultural Centers," reflecting the shortage and deterioration of basic cultural facilities in some localities in the province.
