On November 28, Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc - Head of the Youth Department of Kien Giang Provincial Police - said that Kien Giang Provincial Police had just coordinated with the Lawyers Association - Ho Chi Minh City University of Law to organize the program "Lighting up the dream of rehabilitation" in 2024, associated with propaganda, education , legal advice and giving gifts to prisoners serving sentences in the locality.

Those who have made mistakes and are serving their sentences have shared their reform process, determination, overcoming difficulties, spreading positive spirit and expressing their thoughts and wishes...

Relevant units have propagated, educated, and counseled prisoners serving prison sentences to clearly understand the regulations on criminal records and criminal record deletion...

“Lighting up the dream of rehabilitation is a meaningful activity and shows the concern and sharing of young police officers for those who have made mistakes. Through this, we hope to help prisoners reintegrate into the community, especially young prisoners,” Lieutenant Colonel Quoc added.

On this occasion, Kien Giang Provincial Police presented 29 gifts to prisoners with good behavior at Kien Giang Provincial Police Detention Center.
