The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 1am today, December 2, the tropical depression moved southwest at a speed of 5km/h, about 200km from the coast of Gia Lai to Dak Lak and affected the weather in the Central provinces.

From tonight until the end of tomorrow, Hue city, Da Nang city, the eastern part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall from 40-100mm, in some places very heavy rain over 150mm. Warning of risk of rain intensity greater than 100mm/3 hours.

Heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.

In addition, in the North tonight and early tomorrow morning, cold air will affect the Northeast, North Central and some areas of the Northwest. Then spread to the remaining areas of the Northwest and some areas of the Central Central.

In the South, rain tends to increase gradually with scattered rain, rain occurs in the afternoon, evening and night, some places have moderate rain, in the East some places have heavy rain. In thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
