Currently (December 3), the cold air mass is reported to be approaching the northern border of our country.

It is forecasted that on the morning of December 3, cold air will affect the Northeast region, then affect the North Central region, the Northwest region and the North of the Central Central region. On land, strong Northeast winds will be level 2-3, coastal areas will be level 3-4.

In the Northern and North Central regions, there will be scattered rain and light rain. From the night of December 3, the weather will be cold, with some places in the mountainous areas of the North experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the Northern region will generally be from 15-18 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North, it will generally be from 13-15 degrees Celsius, in some places below 12 degrees Celsius; in the North Central region, it will generally be from 16-18 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area on December 3rd has scattered rain and light rain. From the night of December 3rd, the weather will be cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 15-18 degrees Celsius.

At sea, from December 3, in the North East Sea, the Northeast wind gradually increases to level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 3.0-5.0m high, rough seas. In the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind gradually increases to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8, waves 2.0-4.0m high, rough seas. Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening combined with the circulation of the weakened low pressure area from storm No. 15, and disturbances in the East wind zone above, from the night of December 2-4, in the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City , the East of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa, there will be widespread moderate to heavy rain.

From early morning of December 3 to the end of the night of December 3, the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City, the eastern part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall from 40-100mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.

On the day and night of December 4, the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the East of Quang Ngai province will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall from 40-80mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.
