Latest announcement on 6th grade enrollment at Tran Dai Nghia Specialized School, Ho Chi Minh City

According to this announcement, the Departmentof Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that students must be present at 7:00 a.m. and begin taking the test at 8:00 a.m. on July 4.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted will enroll 525 sixth graders. Candidates will take the test on July 4. The test will take 90 minutes.

Candidates will take a test on abilities such as: Language (English, Vietnamese - writing); mathematics and logical thinking; natural sciences , social sciences (History - Geography); common sense of life.

In terms of form, the competency test consists of multiple choice and essay parts.

For the multiple-choice test, candidates will take a 20-question test in English about their understanding of natural sciences, social sciences and common sense in life within 30 minutes.

For the essay part, candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the test, including: English proficiency test (listening, reading, writing); candidates will complete the test in English.

Test of mathematical and logical thinking ability, reading comprehension and writing ability. Candidates take the test in Vietnamese.
