Nationwide recall of substandard Fobe Mouth Ulcer gel batch

The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) requested to recall and destroy the batch of Fobe Mouth Ulcer gel due to not meeting microbiological standards.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam has just announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the Fobe Mouth Ulcer gel product batch - Box of 1 tube of 10g, batch number 071124, production date November 7, 2024, expiry date November 7, 2027. The product batch is brought to market by Fobelife Joint Stock Company and manufactured by SJK Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Biotechnology Company Limited.

Test results show that this batch of mouth ulcer gel does not meet microbial limits, affecting quality and safety of use.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests that provincial and municipal health departments widely notify businesses and consumers to immediately stop circulating and using the product, and at the same time organize the recall and destruction of all violating products. Units that do not comply will be handled according to regulations.

The Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Departments of Health are assigned to closely monitor the recall process, inspect compliance with regulations in the production and trading of cosmetics, and report the results to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before October 3, 2025.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam warns people not to use the above batch of Fobe Mouth Ulcer gel to avoid health risks.
