Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh meets and dialogues with young people about Digital Transformation

On the morning of March 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting and dialogue with young people with the theme "Promoting the vanguard role of young people in the National Digital Transformation."

On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024), on the morning of March 26, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting and dialogue with young people.

The dialogue conference has the theme "Promoting the vanguard role of youth in the National Digital Transformation." This is the second time the Prime Minister has had a dialogue with youth after the Youth Law (2020) was issued.

Attending the conference and having a dialogue with the youth with the Prime Minister were Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung; Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ha Thi Nga; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, socio-political organizations and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

In particular, 300 youth delegates representing civil servants, public employees, armed forces, young entrepreneurs, workers, students, rural youth, urban youth, ethnic minority youth, religious youth and disabled youth nationwide attended.

The dialogue aims to propagate and widely disseminate to young people the State's policies and guidelines on National Digital Transformation, promote the role and responsibility of young people in the national digital transformation; mechanisms, policies and resources of the State in supporting and promoting the role and responsibility of young people in implementing the goals of the National Digital Transformation Program; commend the participation and contributions of outstanding young people in socio-economic development, building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time, listen to young people's recommendations and proposals and orient the resolution of recommendations and proposals.

The dialogue also introduced and honored 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces and 9 promising young Vietnamese faces in 2023./.
