Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assigned tasks to three Deputy Prime Ministers and two Ministers.

On the evening of August 26th, immediately after General Secretary and President To Lam presented the President's appointment decisions to three Deputy Prime Ministers and two Ministers at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting to congratulate and assign tasks to the newly appointed officials.

Also attending were members of the Politburo , Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Party, members of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Economic Committee, Deputy Prime Ministers, members of the Government, and leaders of ministries, branches, and agencies under the Government.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the newly appointed officials would leverage their strengths and work experience, "share the hardships" with the Government collective, inherit and build upon the valuable traditions and experiences, and the great achievements of the Government throughout the years; further promote unity, discipline, integrity, innovation, decisive and effective action, and excellently fulfill the assigned tasks, especially the goals and objectives that The 13th National Party Congress as stated; always wholeheartedly and diligently serving the Fatherland and the people, all for the benefit of the Party, the nation, and the people, for the strong and prosperous development of the country, and for the happiness and well-being of the people.

On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also congratulated Comrade Tran Luu Quang on being entrusted by the Politburo with the position of Head of the Central Economic Committee; at the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated Comrade Tran Luu Quang's important contributions in his capacity as Deputy Prime Minister; and hoped that in his new position, he would continue to cooperate and share with the Government and its agencies so that they could successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.
