Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assigned tasks to three Deputy Prime Ministers and two Ministers.

On the evening of August 26, right after General Secretary and President To Lam presented the President's decision to appoint three Deputy Prime Ministers and two Ministers to positions, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting, congratulated and assigned tasks to the comrades.

Also attending were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, Party Central Committee members, Head of the Central Economic Commission, Deputy Prime Ministers, Government members, leaders of ministries, branches and agencies under the Government.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh Congratulations to comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, comrade Ho Duc Phoc, comrade Bui Thanh Son on being appointed as Deputy Prime Ministers; comrade Do Duc Duy on being appointed as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, comrade Nguyen Hai Ninh on being appointed as Minister of Justice.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the newly appointed comrades would promote their strengths and work experience, "share the same fate and hardships" with the Government to inherit and promote the valuable traditions and experiences, the great results and achievements of the Government through the periods; further promote solidarity, unity, discipline, integrity, innovation, and take drastic and effective actions, and excellently complete the assigned tasks, especially the goals and tasks that the Government has set. The 13th National Party Congress has set forth; always wholeheartedly and with all our might serve the Fatherland, serve the people, all for the benefit of the Party, of the nation, of the people, for the strong and prosperous development of the country, for the happiness and prosperity of the people.

On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also congratulated comrade Tran Luu Quang on being trusted, transferred and assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Head of the Central Economic Commission; at the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated comrade Tran Luu Quang's important contributions and dedication in his position as Deputy Prime Minister; and hoped that comrade Tran Luu Quang in his new position would continue to coordinate and share with the Government and Government agencies so that the agencies could successfully complete their assigned tasks.

On behalf of the comrades just appointed Appointed, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that this is a great honor, but also a very heavy responsibility before the Party, State and people; he vowed to constantly strive, maintain and promote solidarity, unanimity, and make efforts with the Government to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
