
Seeing off Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang and his delegation at Noi Bai International Airport on the morning of October 14th were: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu, and Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai.
During his official visit to Vietnam, Chinese Premier Li Qiang and the high-level Chinese government delegation laid wreaths and paid respects at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh .
Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with General Secretary and President To Lam; together with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, he attended the official welcoming ceremony, held talks, witnessed the signing of cooperation documents between the two countries, participated in the Vietnam-China Business Forum, visited the Exhibition Area showcasing some Vietnamese agricultural products exported to China, enjoyed traditional Vietnamese culture, and attended a reception. Premier Li Qiang also met with National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

During the meetings and talks, Vietnamese leaders warmly welcomed Prime Minister Li Qiang's official visit to Vietnam. This was the first visit by a Chinese Premier in 11 years, and also Mr. Li Qiang's first visit to Vietnam in his capacity as Premier; expressing confidence that the visit would be successful and spread positive effects to ministries, departments, and localities of both countries regarding the determination of both sides in implementing and realizing high-level common understandings, making bilateral relations increasingly effective, substantive, profound, and comprehensive; contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.

In a sincere, friendly, and open atmosphere, the leaders of the two countries informed each other about the situation of each Party and country; they thoroughly assessed the implementation of common understandings and cooperation agreements in various fields between the two countries and agreed on directions and measures to contribute to the effective implementation of the "6 More" orientation, building a Vietnam-China Community with a shared future, which is of strategic significance as agreed upon by the top leaders of the two Parties and countries during high-level visits, most recently the State visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam (August 2024).
On this occasion, the Prime Ministers of the two countries witnessed the signing ceremony of 10 cooperation documents in the fields of transportation connectivity, customs, social welfare, education, agricultural trade, media, and banking.
