The 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival - Green Food Festival with the theme "Delicious in taste, healthy in heart" organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association (FBA) in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Phu Ward opened on the evening of November 1 at Binh Phu Park, with the participation of more than 100 artists, chefs, businesses, international organizations and a large number of people and tourists.

The 2nd Vegetarian Food Festival in 2025 takes place over 5 days, opening up many spaces for connecting green cuisine with hundreds of vegetarian booths, displays, and trade promotions, overwhelming many diners.
Including the "Vegetarian Food Quarter" space with nearly 200 stalls of food - vegetarian, organic, and macrobiotic cuisine, the "Vegetarian Food Craft Village" area; a vegetarian buffet with more than 100 exquisite vegetarian dishes from all 3 regions...
Despite the unfavorable weather, the festival still attracted a large number of people and tourists to visit and enjoy the cuisine.
The festival, which lasts for 5 days, is expected to attract 150,000 visitors, becoming a "green festival destination", making Ho Chi Minh City a center for spreading vegetarian culinary culture and sustainable green lifestyle in Vietnam.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Viet - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association - emphasized: "The festival aims to promote the quintessence of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, encouraging the community to choose a green, environmentally friendly lifestyle. Through that, we hope to work with the business community, chefs, artists and people to spread the spirit of "clean eating - green living" so that each meal is an action for health, for the environment and for a sustainable future of Vietnam".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Phu Ward People's Committee, commented: "This is not only an opportunity for people and tourists to enjoy the sophistication of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, but also an opportunity to join hands to build a green living community, no waste, full of love and sharing. We hope that the Vegetarian Food Festival is not only a cultural - tourism activity, but also contributes to building Binh Phu into a "Green Ward - Green City - Sustainable Living Community".

The highlight of the festival is the "Green Binh Phu - Joining hands for a green environment" festival organized by the Ward People's Committee in coordination with the Vietnam Food Bank Network and Green Journey Social Enterprise Joint Stock Company, with the goal of building a green - clean - sustainable community.
The festival also includes activities such as sharing circular models; giving compost kits and trees to agencies, units, and representatives of local communities.

The organizers said the festival includes a series of meaningful activities such as: "Green Master Chef Vietnam 2025" competition gathering 150 professional chefs; green drink mixing competition; waste recycling workshop; international vegetarian workshop; workshop on culinary trends and green tourism; B2B trade connection space...
Notably, the record of 200 vegetarian dishes from Vietnamese lotus was set on November 3 by leading artisans and chefs.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 30 gifts (VND 500,000/gift) to children in difficult circumstances, to share love and spread the spirit of volunteerism to the community and society.
