In his concluding remarks and directives for key tasks in May, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee instructed relevant agencies to focus on leading and directing the verification, investigation, and clarification of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Corruption; and to closely coordinate in handling newly arising cases and incidents in the province, ensuring that they are handled according to schedule and time requirements, preventing wrongful convictions or the failure to prosecute criminals. He also directed efforts to improve the effectiveness of asset valuation and appraisal in the province in the coming period. Furthermore, he instructed continued monitoring, urging, inspection, and supervision of anti-corruption and anti-negative practices by assigned agencies, units, and localities. Focus on directing the handling of corruption and negative cases under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee, clearly defining the responsibilities of each individual, agency, and unit involved, and the timeframe for completing each stage of the case handling process to learn from experience.
