The Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Practices held its regular September meeting.

On September 15th, Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Phenomena, chaired a meeting to assess the Steering Committee's activities in August and determine key tasks for September 2023.

At the meeting, after hearing the report from the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department on the activities of the Steering Committee and the province's anti-corruption and anti-denunciation work in August; and the key directions and tasks for September, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the achievements; pointed out existing shortcomings and limitations, and requested the Provincial Steering Committee to continue monitoring, directing, and effectively implementing the tasks set forth. He also directed the continued implementation of measures to address the recommendations of the Central Steering Committee's working group on anti-corruption and anti-denunciation work in the province; inspected the implementation of anti-corruption and anti-denunciation work in 2023 and the institutionalization of the Party's guidelines and policies on anti-corruption and anti-denunciation into state laws. He also directed the effective implementation of inspection, supervision, and investigation of complaints and denunciations, focusing on areas prone to corruption and negative practices, such as: land planning, management and use, public assets, bidding, and auctioning of assets...

Focus on thoroughly inspecting and handling violations by Party organizations and Party members related to cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee. Concentrate on leading and directing the acceleration of investigations and handling of corruption and negative incidents in the locality, especially complex and slow-progressing cases under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee.
