Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council visited and congratulated the Provincial Border Guard Command

On the afternoon of February 29th, a delegation from the Provincial People's Council, led by Vice Chairman Do Thai Phong, visited and congratulated the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's traditional day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2024).

 

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Do Thai Phong and the delegation extended their best wishes to all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard on the occasion of their traditional day. They affirmed that the Border Guard is a core, specialized force, leading and coordinating with other armed forces, localities, relevant sectors, and relying on the people to manage and protect the border, maintain political security and social order in border areas; maintain border diplomacy, and firmly protect national sovereignty and border security. The delegation hoped that in 2024, the Provincial Border Guard force would continue to build internal unity, effectively carry out the task of protecting national sovereignty and borders, and contribute to the successful implementation of the province's political tasks in 2024 and the following years.
