Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council visited and congratulated the Provincial Border Guard Command

On the afternoon of February 29, a working delegation of the Provincial People's Council led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Do Thai Phong visited and congratulated officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's traditional day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2024).

 

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Do Thai Phong and the delegation sent their best wishes to all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard on the occasion of its traditional day. At the same time, they affirmed that the Border Guard is the core, specialized force, taking the lead in coordinating with the armed forces, localities, and related sectors and relying on the people to manage and protect the border, maintain political security and social order and safety in the border area; maintain border diplomacy, firmly protect national border security and sovereignty. The delegation hopes that in 2024, the Provincial Border Guard will continue to build internal solidarity and unity, perform well the task of protecting national border sovereignty, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's political tasks in 2024 and the following years.
