On the afternoon of March 12th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Group, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the 25th session of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council was held to discuss the proposed agenda for the 18th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, and many other important issues.
The meeting was chaired by Do Trong Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan and other delegates attended the meeting.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Tien Lam and other delegates attended the session.
Attending the meeting were: Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Tien Lam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee who are heads of the committees of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and People's Council, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.
Tran Manh Long, Chief of the Office of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and Provincial People's Council, presented the proposed agenda for the 18th session.
The 18th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council (special session) was held on the afternoon of March 14, 2024, in the meeting room of the Provincial Party Committee. At the session, the Provincial People's Council delegates listened to, discussed, and considered and decided on 40 proposals from the Provincial People's Committee, aiming to create conditions for socio -economic development and ensure national defense and security of the province. These included important contents such as the detailed allocation of the medium-term public investment plan from the local budget for the period 2021-2025 to implement land clearance and resettlement (phase 2); and the detailed allocation plan of the medium-term public investment plan from the local budget for the period 2021-2025 to implement planning tasks (phase 4). Detailed allocation plan for investment capital within the local budget balance, including investment capital from land use fee revenue regulated to the provincial budget in 2024 for planning tasks (phase 2); Detailed adjustment and allocation plan for medium-term public investment using central government budget funds (mobilization reserve funds) and increased revenue and budget savings at the provincial level for the period 2021-2025, Thanh Hoa province, as stipulated in Resolution No. 426/NQ-HĐND dated September 29, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council (phase 2)...
Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Le Quang Hung, presented the plan and results of the review.
Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, presented the plan and results of the review.
Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Dao Xuan Yen, presented the plan and results of the verification.
Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, presented the plan and results of the verification.
In his concluding remarks, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Do Trong Hung stated: The 18th session is a specialized session addressing a large volume of work, aiming to resolve emerging issues submitted by the Provincial People's Committee for the Provincial People's Council's opinion, meeting the requirements for socio-economic development of the province and localities in the coming period.
Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Do Trong Hung delivered the concluding remarks at the meeting.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the Provincial People's Committee's preparation of the submitted documents and instructed the Provincial People's Council Committees to promptly finalize the verification reports for submission at the session. The Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and People's Council proactively coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to meticulously prepare all necessary conditions for the successful conduct of the session.
Immediately after the session, Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Group, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, chaired a meeting of the Party Group of the Provincial People's Council to provide guidance on the plan for organizing a hearing on compliance with legal regulations on the management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices in the province during the 2021-2023 period; and the plan for organizing a conference to exchange experiences on the operation of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council and the Hua Phan Provincial People's Council, Lao People's Democratic Republic, in 2024.
Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Group, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, delivered the concluding remarks at the meeting of the Party Group of the Provincial People's Council.
Concluding the conference, Comrade Do Trong Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Group, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, requested that the explanatory session on compliance with legal regulations on the management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices in the province during the 2021-2023 period be organized in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation with all 27 districts, towns, and cities. The explanatory session needs to clarify the legal regulations on the management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices... Furthermore, it is necessary to clarify the responsibilities of all levels, sectors, organizations, and individuals involved in the management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices in the province.
The conference aims to address existing shortcomings and limitations in the management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices, thereby improving the quality and effectiveness of state management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices. The conference is scheduled to be held in mid-May 2024.
Regarding the organization of the conference to exchange experiences on the operation of the People's Councils of Thanh Hoa province and Hua Phan province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, in 2024, the Provincial Party Secretary, Secretary of the Party Group, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Do Trong Hung, basically agreed with the plan presented by the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council and suggested that thorough preparation should be carried out to strengthen the friendship and special solidarity between Thanh Hoa and Hua Phan provinces.
