This morning (June 11), the Central Public Security Party Committee coordinated with the Central Party Office and the Central Organization Committee to hold a ceremony to announce the Politburo's Decision appointing Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security , to hold the position of Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On June 6, 2024, at the 7th Session, the 15th National Assembly approved the appointment of Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the Party Central Committee and member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, to the position of Minister of Public Security. On the same day, the Politburo issued Decision No. 1299 appointing Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang to hold the position of Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Regardless of his position or assigned tasks, he always strives to train, strive, overcome difficulties, and complete the assigned tasks well and excellently.
