The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has recently issued a document regarding the continued focus on effectively implementing planning work in the province.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Directors of departments, Heads of boards, agencies, and units at the provincial level, and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to continue to effectively implement the Thanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045, which has been approved by the Prime Minister ; Plan No. 72/KH-UBND dated March 26, 2023, of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045; and to proactively and decisively handle issues related to planning work or advise and report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on matters exceeding their authority.
Enhance coordination and the sharing of complete, timely, accurate, and consistent information in the development of planning and the implementation of related policies to ensure the synchronization of planning levels within the national planning system. Proactively participate in providing feedback and information to ministries, central agencies, and other relevant bodies when consulted on national-level sectoral plans; regularly update relevant data within their scope of management for central ministries and agencies to integrate and share in the national planning information and database system.
Focus on allocating resources and proposing policy mechanisms to effectively implement planning objectives, ensuring consistency and synchronization with the implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals and tasks according to Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW dated August 5, 2020 of the Politburo on building and developing Thanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision to 2045, and the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
The Department of Planning and Investment shall take the lead in strengthening inspection, supervision, guidance, and urging units to effectively implement state management of planning in the province; promptly compile, advise, and report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution of difficulties, obstacles, and issues arising beyond its authority.
