In the original Korean version, VIP aired in 2019 and achieved a record high rating of 15.9%.

Taking on the female lead role of Rinnara is model Pooklook (Fonthip Watcharatrakul), born in 1990.
Before entering the film industry, the beauty was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2010 and represented Thailand at the Miss Universe 2010 pageant in Las Vegas. Pooklook won two awards: Miss Photogenic and Best in Traditional Costume.
