The typical and special significance of the August Revolution

The immense significance of the August Revolution of 1945 lies not only in its long preparation and massive scale, which transformed the destiny of a nation from slavery to mastery of its own country, but also in its pioneering role in reflecting the fundamental goals of the era: national independence, democracy, and socialism. The August Revolution is a prime example of a national democratic revolution led by the working class.
Truly deserving of the title "sharp sword," "steel shield" protecting the Party, the State, and the people.

Throughout 80 years of building, fighting, and maturing, under the absolute and direct leadership of the Party in all aspects, and with the support of the people, the Vietnam People's Public Security Force has always played a core role in the cause of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety, forever deserving to be called the sharp "sword" and "steel shield" protecting the Party, the State, and the people of Vietnam.
These "historical sites" commemorate the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

In the autumn of 1945, under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the people of Hanoi and the entire country rose up in rebellion to seize power, creating a glorious milestone in the history of our nation's founding and defense. For the past 80 years, many landmarks associated with the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd in Hanoi have become "red addresses" for educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions and are popular destinations for both locals and tourists visiting the capital.
