This affirms the sincere feelings and admiration of the Korean people for the leaders and people of Vietnam.
On that basis, he deeply believes that the Vietnam - Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will grow stronger, especially through the enhancement of people-to-people exchange activities. He emphasized that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to coordinate with KOVECA and relevant agencies of the two countries to promote cooperation not only in the business sector, but also in social, cultural and charitable activities.
Mr. Do Van Chien affirmed that one of the important tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is to carry out people's foreign affairs and the Front will actively exchange and coordinate with relevant parties to contribute to the success of meaningful exchange events, thereby fostering friendship and consolidating long-term ties between the people of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
According to the Vietnam News Agency, Mr. Kwon Sung Taek said that General Secretary To Lam being the first foreign leader to visit Korea since President Lee Jae Myung took office showed the importance of relations with Vietnam and the strong determination to promote bilateral relations. He emphasized that KOVECA has always made every effort to connect people-to-people and business exchanges, and enhance economic and cultural cooperation projects between the two countries.
2025 is also the year that Korea celebrates its 80th anniversary of National Independence. KOVECA is planning to hold an exhibition and seminar in Seoul to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, expressing its hope that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will pay attention to this event.
Mr. Kwon Sung Taek also said that previously, KOVECA had translated President Ho Chi Minh's "Prison Diary" with more than 500 copies in three languages: Vietnamese - Chinese - Korean, and planned to present them to senior Korean leaders as well as representatives of businesses interested in Vietnam. This is a meaningful activity, contributing to spreading Vietnamese ideology and culture and strengthening the friendship between the people of the two countries.
