Musculoskeletal diseases have significantly impacted the health, work capacity, lifespan, and quality of life of a large number of Vietnamese people, especially as the incidence of these diseases is increasing and affecting younger people. According to statistics from the Vietnam Musculoskeletal Association, approximately 30% of people over 35, 60% of people over 65, and 85% of people over 80 suffer from osteoarthritis.
The Ho Chi Minh City Osteoporosis Association estimates that approximately 3.6 million Vietnamese people are currently suffering from osteoporosis, and it is projected that by 2030, this number will exceed 4.5 million, with women accounting for 70-80% of cases.
