General rehearsal of the special art program 'Radiant Hai Phong'

The art program 'Rang sang Hai Phong' was rehearsed to serve the people, to celebrate the announcement ceremony of the merger of Hai Phong City - Hai Duong.

On the evening of June 29th, at the Central Cultural Square of the Eastern Region, the organizing committee held a dress rehearsal for the art program "Radiant Hai Phong ".

The program includes 16 special performances: Hai Duong, a place of fond memories; Sparkling Hai Duong; Majestic Van Kiet Con Son (traditional folk singing); The Nation Rises to Welcome a New Era (traditional Vietnamese opera); The Shore of Awaiting Hope; Hai Phong, My Homeland; The City of Flowers Ablaze; Welcoming the Dawn; Hai Duong Shines Brightly Under the Rising Sun; The Season of Ripe Lychees; Hai Phong Medley… The program also features the new work “Hai Phong Rises,” with lyrics by Pham Hong Diep and music by Ngoc Tuyet, performed by various singers.

In particular, the fashion show featuring the traditional Vietnamese ao dai dress by designer Quyen Nguyen, showcased by the top 15 Miss Earth and Miss Heritage contestants, was highly anticipated by the audience.

The program was jointly developed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong; the Hai Phong Press and Communication Center; and the Hai Duong Newspaper and Radio and Television Station; and staged by the Hai Phong Contemporary Art Theatre. More than 300 artists from the Hai Phong Contemporary Art Theatre, the Naval Performing Arts Troupe, and various dance groups performed.

The "Radiant Hai Phong" art program will take place at two locations: the City Theater Square (Hai Phong City) and the Eastern Region Cultural Center (Hai Duong City) at 8 PM on June 30th .

Following the dress rehearsal, the Hai Duong Provincial Arts Council worked with the team, drawing lessons learned and preparing for the performance on June 30th.
