Previously, on July 17th, after receiving complaints from residents about suspected cases of "inventing illnesses," the Department of Health inspected the multi-specialty clinic belonging to Viet Khang Thu Duc Multi-Specialty Clinic Co., Ltd. (address: 83C Dang Van Bi Street, Thu Duc Ward).
Inspections have revealed that this clinic shows signs of "fabricating illnesses." The department is currently coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh City Police to investigate and take strict action if sufficient evidence of violations is found.
Recently, the multi-specialty clinic belonging to Viet Khang Thu Duc Multi-Specialty Clinic Co., Ltd. has been identified as a hotspot in medical examination and treatment activities, frequently receiving complaints from the public about "inventing illnesses and extorting money".
This clinic often employs a "fabricating illnesses to extort money" tactic by offering low-cost examinations, but then the clinic staff repeatedly inform patients of additional illnesses and request numerous services, causing costs to skyrocket. In some cases, the cost can reach tens of millions of dong.
