Việt NamViệt Nam22/11/2024

Following the province's directive to remove obstacles and accelerate the construction progress and disbursement of public investment funds for projects and works, Uong Bi City is focusing on mobilizing the entire political system to complete the land clearance work for the remaining area of the Yen Tu extended road project, from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10, and the 10-lane road.

The Yen Tu road extension project, stretching from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10 and including a 10-lane road, is still facing land acquisition issues involving 7 households located midway along the route.
The Yen Tu road extension project, which includes a section from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10 and a 10-lane road, is still facing land acquisition issues in the middle of the route.

This is one of the key infrastructure projects, creating a new gateway for transportation connectivity to the Yen Tu historical and scenic site in particular, and Uong Bi City in general. The Yen Tu road project extends from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10 and includes a 10-lane road with a total length of over 2km, passing through Phuong Dong and Phuong Nam wards. The project involves the relocation of 151 households. Currently, 100% of the compensation plans have been approved. During the land clearance process, along with the inventory of structures and verification of land ownership, Uong Bi City has organized numerous meetings and disseminated information on policies, regulations, and unit prices. To date, 144 households have agreed to sign the compensation plan and received compensation, handing over the land for construction, achieving over 95% completion.

Officials from the Uong Bi City Land Development Center are urging households who have received compensation to promptly dismantle their structures and hand over the land to the construction unit.

The family of Mr. Le Cong Pho, residing in Hiep An 2 area, Phuong Nam ward, is one of the households with the largest total land area subject to clearance for the project, totaling nearly 1,400 square meters of land for construction, perennial crop cultivation, and other structures. Understanding the project's significance for the socio -economic development of the locality and its people, Mr. Pho's family facilitated the construction of some auxiliary items once the land survey was completed. Currently, after the compensation plan was finalized, the family has agreed to accept the money and has voluntarily dismantled and handed over portions of the land to the construction unit.

Mr. Le Cong Pho stated: "Since 2021, my family has been building a two-story house, but upon receiving the project announcement, we stopped construction on the second floor and did not build or plant any more trees on our land. After the construction unit requested it, my family agreed to let them build the low-voltage power station before receiving compensation. When the local authorities and relevant agencies came to explain and analyze the significance of the project, my family also agreed to the plan. Currently, the newly built house in the resettlement area is being completed quickly, and we will gradually dismantle the equipment here to hand over the land so that the project can be completed soon."

According to a report from the Uong Bi City Land Development Center, there are currently 7 households along the route that have not yet agreed to sign the compensation plan and receive compensation money. These households are all concentrated in Phuong Nam ward and located in the middle of the project route, significantly affecting construction work in areas where land has already been cleared.

Mr. Duong Duc Lan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuong Nam Ward, said: "For the remaining households that have not yet agreed, the city's and the People's Committee of the ward's stance is to mobilize the entire political system to establish working groups and persistently organize propaganda and persuasion efforts to each household regarding the mechanisms, policies, and legal regulations in establishing compensation rates for land and structures on the land. This aims to create consensus among the people in the land clearance process. At the same time, we will mobilize contractors and organizations to support families in relocating their structures on the land as soon as they sign the compensation plan."

The Yen Tu extended road project has completed the asphalt paving of the section at the intersection with National Highway 18. Construction of the crushed stone base layer is now being accelerated in sections where land is available. If the remaining land is handed over in November, it will be crucial for the project to be completed on schedule.
