Along with that were breakthroughs in implementing Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

After nearly 3 hours of listening to comments, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City pays special attention to the field of science and technology, innovation and will be more responsible for what must be done to promote this field to develop strongly in the coming time. When developing this field, Ho Chi Minh City will have science and technology tools to solve problems related to people's lives such as traffic jams, flooding, environmental pollution, fire prevention, etc.
The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee directed relevant departments and branches to fully absorb opinions and propose specific mechanisms to promote the development of science and technology and innovation, including the proposal of a controlled testing mechanism (sandbox) in this field. Ho Chi Minh City will also aim to develop a low-level economy , encourage the production and application of unmanned devices to serve people's needs. Ho Chi Minh City will shape 4 centers for science and technology development and innovation. These will be the destination for the science and technology community and innovative startups in the coming time. In addition, the city will also attract domestic and foreign venture capital funds, along with support mechanisms to be more attractive.
