On December 10th, the Department of Dike Management and Disaster Prevention, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , and Plan International Vietnam announced the deployment of emergency aid worth VND 1.848 billion for people affected by Typhoon No. 12 and Typhoon No. 13 in Da Nang City. This aid was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in November 2025.
Accordingly, this assistance was given to 627 people in Go Noi and Thuong Duc communes (Da Nang City), including children, pregnant women or women raising young children, people with disabilities, and households severely affected by the disaster.
The support items include: 5 million VND/household in cash for 230 households; 1.5 million VND/person for 106 pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, or women with disabilities or chronic diseases; and household supplies and feminine hygiene kits for 230 households.

According to the Department of Dike Management and Disaster Prevention, this is the first time Plan International Vietnam has deployed relief activities in Da Nang City. Although not yet a project area of the organization, Da Nang is considered a location with great potential for long-term cooperation, thanks to the swift, transparent, and responsible coordination from the local government, which has significantly contributed to the effectiveness of this support program.

The Standing Agency for Disaster Prevention and Control also stated that emergency relief is one of Plan International Vietnam's priorities, especially in the context of increasingly complex natural disasters.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Dike Management and Disaster Prevention, Plan International Vietnam's emergency support right from the beginning has helped people have better conditions to overcome the consequences and quickly stabilize their lives.
Plan International Vietnam is a non-governmental organization working in the field of promoting children's rights and gender equality (according to information publicly available on the organization's website).
