On the afternoon of June 23, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced and awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Head of the Board of Members of Vietnam Post Corporation, to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of the Corporation.

In particular, Vietnam Post Corporation has clear development orientations in the coming time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Post Corporation Nguyen Truong Giang said that Vietnam Post is oriented to become a modern technology - public service enterprise, quickly grasping new trends such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and digital platforms, to create essential, smart postal - logistics - public administration and retail services close to all people.

The six key tasks that the corporation will focus on implementing in the coming time are transforming from a traditional postal enterprise to a service technology enterprise; thoroughly reforming the pricing mechanism and operational efficiency; affirming its leading position in the logistics industry, aiming for a growth rate of 400% by 2030; developing the “Postal Department Store” chain and the “Postal Department Store” e-commerce platform; deploying a comprehensive digital transformation platform for traditional grocery stores nationwide; building a modern, transparent, flexible, and innovative management model.

In the next 12 months, Vietnam Post Corporation aims to increase revenue by 25%, profit and employee income by 15%.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Post Corporation, born in 1971, has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Hanoi National Economics University.
