Submit policy to support Tay Ninh with capital for compensation and resettlement of Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will submit to the City People's Council to support Tay Ninh province with capital to implement Component Project 4: Compensation, support, and resettlement of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway (the section passing through Tay Ninh province under the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway Construction Investment Project).

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a document requesting the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council to organize a special meeting of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council (expected in early November 2025) to consider important contents, in order to promptly deploy contents and policies to carry out the tasks of socio -economic development, national security and defense of the city after the administrative unit arrangement.

Perspective of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway project when completed in 2027

It is expected that at the meeting, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will submit to the City People's Council 55 resolutions (including 18 legal resolutions and 37 individual resolutions).

Among them are the Resolution regulating the policy of supporting health insurance premiums for the elderly, pupils and students in Ho Chi Minh City; the Resolution regulating the special policy of supporting medical examination and health check-up costs for pupils in Ho Chi Minh City.

Along with that is the Resolution promulgating the Regulations on the roadmap for implementing the conversion and policies to support the conversion of public passenger transport vehicles by buses using electricity and green energy in the city; Resolution on promulgating the Regulations on interest rate support for investment projects lent by the Ho Chi Minh City State Financial Investment Company in priority areas of socio-economic development in Ho Chi Minh City (after the merger).

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also submitted a Resolution on deciding the list of land plots to be auctioned to select investors to implement investment projects using land in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 (phase 2); Resolution on deciding the investment policy for the project of dredging, improving the environment combined with urban embellishment of Ong Be canal drainage axis.

In addition, there is a Resolution deciding on the investment policy for the project to upgrade Road 991 from National Highway 51 to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City; a Resolution deciding on the investment policy for the project to dredge and improve the environment combined with urban embellishment of the Ba Lon canal drainage axis; a Project to build, renovate and expand Ton That Thuyet Street and green parks along the Te Canal. A proposal to support Tay Ninh province with capital to implement Component Project 4: Compensation, support and resettlement of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway (the section through Tay Ninh province belongs to the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway Construction Investment Project ).

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also requested the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City to direct the committees of the City People's Council to coordinate in reviewing the contents to submit to the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City at the meeting.
