At the 33rd SEA Games, leaders of MMA federations from various countries signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the Southeast Asian MMA Federation.


Tran Ngoc Luong has secured a spot in the MMA final. He will compete in the 60kg final against a Malaysian opponent at 2:30 PM.

Following an outstanding performance, the Vietnamese women's kata team, consisting of Nguyen Thi Phuong, Nguyen Ngoc Tram, Bui Ngoc Nhi, and Hoang Thi Thu Uyen, defeated Indonesia to advance to the final. The team will compete in the final this afternoon.
Meanwhile, the men's kata team lost to Indonesia in the semi-finals and will compete for the bronze medal.

As of 12:00 PM on December 11th, Vietnam still has 4 gold medals, while Thailand remains in the lead with 19 gold medals.

On a day when they weren't performing well, the Vietnamese men's 3x3 basketball team suffered a crushing defeat against Malaysia. The 21-12 scoreline highlighted the significant difference between the two teams. Thus, the Vietnamese men's basketball team has been eliminated from the 3x3 event.

At the end of the morning competition on December 11th, 4 out of 6 Vietnamese swimmers had qualified for the finals of their respective events. These were Pham Thanh Bao, Jeremie Luong, Nguyen Kha Nhi, and Vo Thi My Tien. Thanh Bao finished 3rd, while Vo Thi My Tien, despite finishing 8th, still qualified for the finals. The two athletes eliminated were Trinh Truong Vinh and Nguyen Ngoc Tuyet Han.

- Pham Thanh Bao: 3rd place in the men's 100m breaststroke qualifying round - 1:03.16 (1 minute 3 seconds 16)
- Jeremie Luong: 4th place in the men's 50m freestyle qualifying round - 23.01 seconds
- Nguyen Kha Nhi: 8th place in the women's 200m freestyle qualifying round - 2:08.70
- Vo Thi My Tien: 8th place in the women's 200m individual medley qualifying round - 2:23.64

Hong Ngoc and Ngoc Bich were the two athletes who brought home the first medals for the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games. They shared their joy after stepping onto the highest podium in Jujitsu.
10:30 AM : In the women's singles badminton match, Vu Thi Trang will face Katethong from the host country. This player is currently ranked 14th in the world, formerly 6th. This will be a major challenge for the Vietnamese athlete.
