
Based on leveraging the strengths of each party, the cooperation program between the Vietnam News Agency's Southern Regional Information Center and Tra Vinh University focuses on several key areas such as: disseminating the Party and State's policies and guidelines on education and training development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and science and technology; supporting communication and promoting the university's brand; promoting multilingual communication; and organizing training courses, seminars, events, and student support activities.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan, Director of the Vietnam News Agency's Southern Regional Information Center, stated that the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) is the national news agency with over 60 information products in various journalistic formats, published in 10 different languages, and has cooperative relationships with more than 40 international news agencies. This is an important foundation to support Tra Vinh University in its communication and image promotion efforts internationally.
In addition, VNA owns two printing businesses, ITAXA Co., Ltd. and Printing - Trading Co., Ltd., which can cooperate with the University in printing activities such as diploma blanks, yearbooks, monthly magazines, scientific journals, student handbooks, or promotional publications.
The center also excels in organizing training courses in journalism, multimedia communication, photography, crisis management, and brand management – practical skills for students and communication professionals. "This collaboration will bring tangible value, helping to promote the image and international connections of Tra Vinh University, especially in publishing research and scientific reports, and expanding cooperation with foreign universities and research institutes," said Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan.

Associate Professor, Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, also affirmed that the Vietnam News Agency's Southern Regional Information Center has been a reliable partner of the University for many years. This signing marks a new stage of development, opening up more opportunities for deeper cooperation between the two units, contributing to spreading the image of Tra Vinh University as dynamic, creative, and friendly to the domestic and international community.

Currently, Tra Vinh University offers 50 undergraduate programs, 27 master's programs, and 10 doctoral programs with over 20,000 students from 40 provinces and cities nationwide. The university has established cooperative relationships with over 100 educational partners from 18 countries, affirming its position as a leading multidisciplinary training and research center in the Mekong Delta region.
