The Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union presented gifts to 50 orphans in Dak Lak.

On the afternoon of September 5, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union held a meeting and presented gifts to 50 orphans in Dak Lak province, on the occasion of the new school year 2024 - 2025.

During a working trip to Dak Lak province on the afternoon of September 5, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ton Ngoc Hanh organized a meeting and presented gifts to 50 orphans in Dak Lak province.

Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ton Ngoc Hanh encouraged and shared with the orphans in difficult circumstances, acknowledged and praised their spirit of overcoming difficulties in life and study. The Vice President expressed hope that in the new school year, the children will continue to make efforts, be confident, and have the courage to overcome difficulties, compete, strive, and practice to achieve the best results in study and life.

The Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union hopes that the Women's Union at all levels in Dak Lak province will continue to promote the good work they have done and closely follow the plan of the Central Union on connecting "Godmothers", creating a bond between mothers and their children, so that the children have more opportunities to study, develop comprehensively, and become useful people for society.

On behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Vice President Ton Ngoc Hanh presented 50 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship) and 50 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts (total value of nearly VND 14 million) to orphans in especially difficult circumstances in 15 districts, towns and cities in the province.

This is an activity within the "Godmother" program implemented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union to support orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances to have the conditions to go to school; creating motivation to help them strive to improve in life.
