According to the report, both projects have shown positive progress, especially at Bach Mai Hospital. However, the implementation process still faces many difficulties and obstacles, and there are no concrete solutions to definitively resolve them.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Health , the Project Management Board, contractors, and relevant ministries and agencies to continue demonstrating strong determination, focusing their intellect and resources, and implementing comprehensive and decisive solutions to complete and put these two medical facilities into operation before November 30, 2025, serving the people's healthcare needs, avoiding wasted investment resources, and contributing to reducing the burden on central-level hospitals and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Health to proactively monitor the situation, track and review the progress of work on a weekly and monthly basis at the two projects; in the immediate future, it needs to coordinate with the Ministry of Construction and relevant agencies to definitively resolve obstacles in the preparation and verification of cost estimates for the mechanical, electrical and interior design of both projects.
The Ministry of Health has directed Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital to urgently prepare in terms of expertise, professional skills, recruitment, training, personnel arrangement, operational plans, financial mechanisms, and operating models to be ready to receive and operate the project as soon as it is completed.
The Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee is tasked with closely coordinating with the Ministry of Health, the Project Management Board, and the two hospitals in preparing housing for officials, doctors, and medical staff; and ensuring essential infrastructure and services so that the second facilities of the two hospitals can operate smoothly and effectively.
