Quang Tri Pedagogical College opens new school year

This morning, October 16th, Quang Tri Teacher Training College held its opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Hoang Nam, attended the event.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, Quang Tri College of Education continued to innovate its enrollment, training, professional development, and general education activities. The enrollment rate for the preschool teacher training program reached 100%, and the enrollment rate for the high school program also reached 100%. Training, especially for preschool administrators and teachers, attracted over 500 participants. Nearly 200 students participated in bridging and second degree programs in collaboration with higher education institutions; hundreds of students received Lao and Vietnamese language training led by the college; 100% of lecturers successfully carried out scientific research, with two lecturers serving as project leaders for state-level Nafosted research projects...

During the past academic year, the school was honored by the Emulation Bloc of universities, colleges, vocational schools and training centers, and was recommended for the Government's Emulation Flag; one individual was recommended for a commendation from the Prime Minister .

For the 2024-2025 academic year, Quang Tri College of Education will enroll 300 students in its early childhood education college program, as well as students from grades 6 and 10 of the Inter-level High School. The school's faculty and students aim to continuously improve the quality of teaching, focusing on the comprehensive development of students' skills. Continuing with its development strategy, the school will strive for proactiveness, creativity, perseverance, and determination to achieve its goal of establishing a university in accordance with the province's education and training plan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam requested the school to continue to build upon its achievements and effectively carry out the tasks of the new academic year. He also urged close coordination with relevant departments and agencies to leverage resources and gradually invest in improving the infrastructure and equipment for teaching and learning.

Take care of developing the teaching staff, focus on innovating teaching methods; organize training to improve the professional qualifications and skills of managers, lecturers and staff in the whole school. Build a school pedagogical collective that is united, disciplined, unanimous and united to overcome all difficulties and challenges. Each teacher needs to constantly practice the qualifications and qualities of a teacher, self-study and be creative to become a shining example of ethics and expertise for students to follow.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that Party committees, government agencies, relevant departments, parents, and the people continue to pay attention to, support, and create favorable conditions for the development of Quang Tri College of Education, contributing to the training and provision of high-quality human resources to serve the needs of building and developing the homeland and the country.
