The admission score is 21 points, rounded to 2 decimal places; including the score of Math and the 2 highest scores in the following subjects: Literature, Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Civic Education; plus priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. The score of 21 is the basis for candidates to set their wishes early, increasing their chances of being admitted right from the first admission. The school representative noted that candidates are eligible to apply for admission toFPT University when: they are eligible for direct admission according to the school's 2024 regular university admission regulations; the 2024 high school graduation exam results are 21 points, rounded to 2 decimal places (including the score in Math and the 2 highest scores in Literature, Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Civic Education); plus priority points (if any) according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates need to choose FPT University as one of the first round of wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system from July 18, 2024 to before 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024.

In addition, FPT University announced the recruitment of 1,000 students for the major "Semiconductor Design" and offered scholarships from 50% for the first 2 semesters to 100% of the curriculum for all candidates. At the same time, for candidates graduating from high school this year, choosing FPT University as one of the first 3 wishes when registering for the first round of admission and having a combination of 3 exam subjects (including Math and 2 other subjects) of 25 points or more will have the opportunity to win a scholarship worth 180 million VND. In the 2024 - 2025 school year, FPT University will enroll students in the following majors: Information Technology (Semiconductor Design, Digital Automotive Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security, Digital Art Design); Business Administration (Digital Marketing, International Business, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Tourism & Travel Services Management, Finance); Communication Technology (Multimedia Communications, Public Relations); English Language, Japanese Language, Korean Language and Chinese Language.
