On July 31st, the University of Education, Hue University, held a ceremony to announce the Resolution recognizing the Rector and appointing the Vice-Rector for the 2020-2025 term.
At the ceremony, the Hue University Council announced Resolution No. 22/NQ-HĐĐH on the recognition of the Rector of the University of Education, Hue University. Accordingly, Dr. Le Ho Son, Senior Lecturer and Head of the Organization and Administration Department of the University of Education, Hue University, is recognized as the Rector of the university for the term 2020-2025.

Dr. Le Ho Son, born in 1976, graduated with a degree in Philosophy. Before assuming the position of Rector, Dr. Le Ho Son held various positions, including lecturer in the Faculty of Political Education, Deputy Head of the Postgraduate Training Department, and Head of the Organization and Administration Department at the University of Education, Hue University.
Also at the ceremony, the University Council of Hue University of Education announced Resolution No. 29/NQ-HĐĐH of the Chairman of the University Council on the appointment of the Vice-Rector of Hue University of Education for the term 2020-2025.
Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung (born in 1980), Head of the Department of Psychology and Education , Hue University of Education, has been appointed Vice Rector of the University for the term 2020-2025.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Le Ho Son, the new Rector, stated that the University of Education, Hue University, is one of the leading teacher training institutions in the Central Highlands region and throughout the country. Over the years, the university has consistently received attention and support from the Ministry of Education and Training, the leadership of Thua Thien Hue province, Hue University, and local authorities.
According to Dr. Le Ho Son, the challenges that the education sector in general and the University of Education, Hue University in particular have been and are facing include student recruitment, international cooperation, scientific research, infrastructure, and faculty development.
“Our legacy is not just about numbers, but more importantly, it’s about ‘love’: the love between teachers and students, the love between colleagues, and humanistic values, and above all, the love for humanity. That is the foundation upon which Hue University of Education builds its own unique cultural characteristics, strongly asserts itself in the digital age, and actively builds values that will last forever,” Dr. Le Ho Son expressed.

“The development of the University of Education, Hue University in the coming period will be based on core values: Ethics, Professionalism, and Creativity. We believe that in the future, the University of Education, Hue University will strongly develop, becoming one of the key teacher training universities, one of the leading factors contributing to Hue University becoming a National University, and contributing to Thua Thien Hue province becoming a centrally-governed city,” affirmed Dr. Le Ho Son.
