According to VNA correspondents in Vientiane, nearly 30 typical photos were carefully selected from VNA's rich archive, taken by a team of domestic photojournalists and resident reporters in Vientiane. The photos comprehensively and vividly reflect the depth of the faithful and steadfast relationship between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
Before entering the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Sonxay Siphandone visited the exhibition space with outstanding current photos, recording activities during the state visit of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, his wife and the high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam to the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The photo series also reflected the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party that took place from December 1-2.
In addition, many photos record the visits, activities and important events of the two countries' senior leaders in the process of cultivating and developing the comprehensive cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Laos. In particular, the exhibition also introduces many images of the leaders of the Party, State, Government and National Assembly of the two countries at key projects, economic cooperation programs and investment promotion.

A highlight of the VNA photo exhibition this time is the image of the Lao People's Army participating in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and close bond between the two armies. The photo series also introduces a moment at the inauguration ceremony of Terminal No. 3 of the Laos - Vietnam International Port in the Vung Ang Economic Zone (Ha Tinh), an important symbol of economic cooperation and strategic infrastructure connection between the two countries.
The VNA's photo exhibition at the 48th Session not only holds valuable documentary value, but also contributes to affirming that the special Vietnam-Laos relationship is always preserved, promoted and continues to develop strongly in the new period.
