(Baohatinh.vn) - On the morning of August 16, despite unfavorable weather, thousands of Ha Tinh people gathered at Ba Dinh Square to watch the national flag raising ceremony, sing the national anthem and take part in the nationwide walking journey "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

The program "Moving Forward with Vietnam" was organized and launched nationwide by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security , with the participation of people and armed forces in 34 provinces and cities with more than 3,000 communes, wards and administrative special zones. At the Ha Tinh bridge, there were the participation of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Linh and representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors. From dawn, more than 3,000 people poured into Thanh Sen Square, wearing bright red shirts with yellow stars, ready for the special flag-raising ceremony at the community event "Moving Forward with Vietnam". Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Linh and representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors attended the program. At exactly 6 o'clock, when the national flag raising ceremony was held at the historic Ba Dinh Square, Ha Tinh people simultaneously performed the flag salute ceremony and sang the national anthem. The national anthem resounded majestically, blending with thousands of arms raised in salute to the rhythm of patriotic hearts. The program evoked pride and emotion in every participant's eyes.
From the elders, staff, workers to students, all turn towards the national flag, creating a picture of solidarity and unity. Immediately after the flag-raising ceremony, provincial leaders and many people participated in the nationwide walking event "Moving Forward with Vietnam". Footsteps contribute to the journey carrying the message "1 billion steps towards a new era". Many officials and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee Office participated in the program.
