At the Vietnam Golden Ball 2023 award ceremony held on February 19, Pham Tuan Hai won the Silver Ball award for the best male player of the year. In this category, the Golden Ball was awarded to Nguyen Hoang Duc, while Dang Van Lam won the Bronze Ball.
Tuan Hai expressed his happiness on his personal page after receiving the Silver Ball award: “Until now, Hai still feels excited and happy. Hai is very happy to be on the shortlist of Saigon Giai Phong newspaper, the Silver Ball 2023 title is a reward that recognizes Hai's tireless efforts over the past year.
"Hai's presence on the Golden Ball Gala stage is primarily thanks to his teammates, and this award is a gift for the team, for everyone. Hai wants to express his gratitude to his parents and relatives who have been by his side, encouraging him and helping him overcome difficult times. Hai thanks Hanoi FC, his coaches, teammates at the club and the Vietnamese national team for their guidance and support, which has enabled him to develop into the person he is today. Hai also thanks the press, media, and fans for their support and interest over the past time."
In addition, Tuan Hai also sent a special message to his colleagues with the goal of helping Vietnamese football develop further: “Personally, Hai hopes that there will be more players who can create competitions like the 2023 Golden Ball race, to motivate each other, motivate each other, and work together to help Vietnamese football develop further. Every dream to become a reality must be exchanged for relentless efforts.”
Currently, Tuan Hai is preparing with Hanoi FC for their match in Round 10 of the V-League 2023/2024 against Ho Chi Minh City FC, which will take place at 7:15 PM on February 24th at Hang Day Stadium.
