At the end of the Vietnamese national team's training camp in March 2025, striker Pham Tuan Hai also marked a new milestone in his football journey. Specifically, the striker born in 1998 launched his own shoe model, the Wika TH10, with the message "The Touch of Glory." This immediately reminds fans of Tuan Hai's goal in the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final against Thailand, which opened the way to victory and helped the Vietnamese national team win the championship. It was a situation where Pham Tuan Hai needed only one touch to chip the ball over the Thai goalkeeper's head.

"In football, the outcome of a match or even an entire campaign is sometimes decided by just one touch. It could be a shot, a save, or a precise pass; all of these can change everything on the field. One touch can change everything, bringing glory, but achieving that touch is the result of a long journey of effort and persistent training accumulated over time," Tuan Hai explained.

After the 2024 AFF Cup, the 27-year-old striker remained one of the key players trusted by coach Kim Sang-sik. Pairing Tuan Hai with Nguyen Hai Long – his teammate at Hanoi FC – was an option the South Korean coach experimented with in the match against Cambodia when Nguyen Xuan Son was absent.

In the match against Laos, Tuan Hai did not start.
