Connecting routes: Expanding development space

With a total investment of more than 4.9 trillion VND, the route from Thai Binh city (old) connecting to the center of Hung Yen province is a key traffic project of the province, contributing to completing infrastructure, promoting regional connectivity, creating a new economic corridor connecting industrial parks and urban areas inside and outside the province.

The route has a total length of about 24.8 km.
The starting point of the route is at the intersection between the road to TBS Song Tra Industrial Park and National Highway 10 (in Thai Binh ward), the end point is at the beginning of the Luoc River overpass (Ngu Thien commune), passing through Thai Binh ward and the communes of Nam Tien Hung, Tien Hung, Hong Minh, Hung Ha, Tien La, and Ngu Thien.
The project will start in 2025 and be completed in 2028.
The project is designed to meet the standards of a grade III delta road.
The entire route has 8 bridges and 9 intersections at the same level.

The project needs to clear more than 186 hectares of land, of which 35.91 hectares have been cleared from previous projects . Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Chairman of Nam Tien Hung Commune People's Committee, said: The route passing through the commune is 3.1 km long, requiring 21.9 hectares of land clearance. Recognizing the importance of the project, the local Party Committee and government have focused on implementing the land clearance work well and it is very convenient that the people agree and highly support. The commune closely coordinates with related units to ensure the progress of implementation. Mr. Le Minh Tuan, Chairman of Ngu Thien Commune People's Committee, emphasized: To speed up the project's progress, there needs to be clear coordination between agencies and well-organized training for officials doing compensation and support for land clearance. Unifying the process from the province to the grassroots is an important factor to ensure the progress of the project.

Design solution for the section from Km0+600 to Km5+00 and Km6+00 to the end of the route.

Recently, the communes where the road passes have also proactively reviewed, counted, developed plans, and supported compensation for site clearance according to new regulations. Many households whose land is subject to land acquisition expressed their agreement and hope that the project will be implemented soon. Mr. Tran Van Dang, a resident of Hong Minh commune with agricultural land in the site clearance area, shared: My family and the villagers all support it. The completion of the road will make traffic more convenient, and the value of land on both sides of the road will also increase. We hope that the compensation policy will be implemented transparently and promptly.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh, Director of the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 of Hung Yen province, said: The Project Management Board will closely coordinate with the Land Fund Development Center No. 2 and local authorities to effectively implement each phase, especially the site clearance work - the decisive factor in the project's progress. Ms. Nguyen Thi Sim, Office of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, shared: Every day, we travel to the provincial center to work, a distance of more than 100 km round trip. Even though there is a shuttle bus, waking up early and finishing work late still has a certain impact on family life, especially for female staff. Therefore, we really hope that the road connecting Thai Binh city - Hung Yen will be completed soon, when the travel time will be shortened, it will reduce pressure, increase work efficiency and stabilize the psychology of cadres, civil servants and public employees. Mr. Luong Huu Tap, an officer of the Department of Finance, said: This route is not only a transportation solution but also contributes to improving working conditions for officers working far from home. Investing in the connecting route will help save time, costs, and facilitate coordination between agencies in performing tasks.

Mr. Do Van Ve, Deputy General Director of Huong Sen Group Joint Stock Company, said: A well-invested transport infrastructure will contribute to reducing logistics costs and enhancing the competitiveness of businesses. We expect the route connecting Thai Binh City - Hung Yen to be implemented soon, thereby forming an inter-provincial economic-logistics corridor, expanding trade, and promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
