University Admissions 2025: Which universities offer journalism training?

In 2025, many universities and academies announced enrollment for journalism training. These schools are all in the group of public higher education institutions.

In 2025, the Academy of Journalism and Communication will enroll students in 4 majors. Group 1 includes 2 majors: journalism and publishing. The journalism major will enroll students in 4 majors: print journalism (50 positions), photojournalism (40 positions), radio journalism (502 positions), television journalism (90 positions), television filming (40 positions), and online journalism (90 positions). The school enrolls students according to the following methods: considering academic records, combined admission, admission based on high school graduation exam results, direct admission, and priority admission.

This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University , Hanoi ) enrolls 160 students in journalism. The school enrolls students according to 3 methods: Direct admission and priority admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Admission based on the results of the valid HSA exam of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) enrolls students in journalism according to two standard and international standard programs. Admission methods include: Direct admission, priority admission; Admission based on the results of the capacity assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025; Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

In 2025, the University of Sciences ( Hue University) will enroll 230 students in journalism by 5 methods: Direct admission, priority admission; Admission using high school graduation exam results; Admission using high school study results; Admission using capacity assessment test results; Combined admission.

The University of Education (University of Danang) enrolls 100 students in journalism according to 3 methods: Considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores; Admission based on high school study results; Direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Hanoi University of Culture enrolls 130 students in journalism this year. Admission methods include: Direct admission, priority given to candidates with outstanding abilities and achievements; Admission based on 2025 high school graduation exam scores; Admission based on high school transcripts.

The Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology also recruits 90 students for journalism majors for its northern training facility this year. Admission methods include: Talent selection; Selection based on international competency assessment certificate results (SAT/ACT); Selection based on competency assessment test results or thinking assessment; Selection combining international English certificates (IELTS, TOEFL certificates) with high school study results; Selection based on high school graduation exam results in 2025.

Can Tho University enrolls 100 students in journalism. Admission methods include: Direct admission, priority admission; Admission based on 2025 high school graduation exam scores; High school transcript scores; V-SAT exam scores; Admission to advanced and high-quality programs; Direct admission to supplementary knowledge courses.

In addition to the above universities and academies that train in journalism, many other universities are currently training in media-related majors in the 2025 university admission year.
