The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to review the organization of "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Can Tho" in 2023

On October 30th, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to review the contents of the " Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Can Tho City" in 2023.

The 2023 "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Can Tho," themed "Ninh Thuan - A Land of Convergent Values," will be held from November 3rd to November 5th, 2023 (on the occasion of Can Tho City's 20th anniversary of its establishment as a centrally-governed city), at the Ho Chi Minh Monument area, Ninh Kieu pedestrian street, Tan An ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho City. The opening ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM on November 4th. In addition to artistic performances promoting Ninh Thuan tourism throughout the event, the province will organize exhibition booths showcasing and promoting Ninh Thuan's culture, tourism, OCOP products, and unique local products. These will be attractive destinations for Can Tho residents and tourists to visit and experience.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the coordination and preparation of the relevant departments and units. To ensure the event achieves maximum effectiveness, he requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead, continue coordinating with other units to implement tasks according to the issued plan, and monitor and supervise the implementation by assigned units, promptly reporting and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution of any issues arising during the implementation process. Specifically, he urged the prompt completion of the press release for the event, including the inclusion of QR code information for disseminating information and promoting the event through various media channels; strengthening information and promotion sections on the provincial electronic portal as well as on provincial newspapers and radio stations; and connecting with news agencies and media outlets in the city. Can Tho and neighboring provinces are stepping up promotional and publicity efforts before and during the event, bringing the "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Can Tho" to the people of Can Tho and tourists.
