This helps optimize resources, reduce costs and improve product quality.

Nowadays, livestream allows direct connection with the audience, breaking down the barriers of time and space. Within 30 minutes, a livestream can reach thousands of views and interactions, creating a strong attraction for the content transmitted. This is a testament to the dynamism and great potential of this form of modern communication.

“With just a live broadcast lasting less than an hour, we attracted more than 100,000 views and thousands of shares. That is how livestream asserts its power,” journalist Pham Thu Hien shared.

In the media industry, technology has changed the way journalists and media outlets reach their audiences. The use of AI to analyze audience data, create personalized content, and optimize user experiences is becoming mainstream. Mobile tools and digital platforms also make it easier for journalists to access information and deliver content quickly.

Journalist Ngo Tran Thinh speaks at the conference.

Journalist Ngo Tran Thinh, Head of Multimedia Department, News Center, Ho Chi Minh City Television, shared that AI has become a powerful tool in analyzing data, optimizing scenarios and improving the quality of media products. At some units, data systems have been used to quickly identify market trends, thereby improving the quality of transmitted content.

Today, AI can automate video editing, optimize live streams, or even create more creative and vivid weather reports. We have applied AI to build daily broadcasts. Thanks to the ability to analyze data quickly, AI not only saves time but also makes appropriate suggestions for the audience, journalist Ngo Tran Thinh informed.

AI not only assists in the production process, but also participates in creative stages such as creating drafts of content, suggesting images or even developing social applications that connect with audiences. Modern media platforms also apply AI to personalize user experiences, helping to increase interactivity and engagement with content.

Although technology brings many benefits, its application in practice still faces many challenges. Many localities and small businesses still do not have enough resources to invest in modern technology. In addition, training technology skills for human resources is also an issue that needs attention.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, shared valuable information at the workshop.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, shared that digital transformation has been affirmed as an inevitable trend, not only in the economic field but also in management and daily life.

In fact, digital transformation training courses have been around for 20 years, helping many individuals and organizations access technology. Especially during the Covid-19 period, when the transition to digital platforms was happening rapidly, livestream applications, data analysis and remote working software have proven their essential role.

Nowadays, when we know how to use technology, it will support us a lot, while saving the budget. However, it is important to note that technology for serious journalists is not for the fake news users out there. With the help of technology, AI can copy a lot of things to fake, so we must be alert.

In particular, a lot of innovation is needed to make a difference. At this time, we can still make a difference with the creativity of each individual and organization to create quality press products that are suitable for trends and times.
