Each year, ISRRT implements practical support programs for its member countries. The core objective of these programs is to promote the continuous professional development of the technical community in the fields of radiology, medical imaging, and radiotherapy.
Accordingly, in-depth lectures presented by leading experts and scholars worldwide provide up-to-date information on advanced treatment methods and diagnostic techniques, along with creating opportunities for international exchange of knowledge and experience.
This year, Vietnam is honored to be selected by ISRRT as a member country to implement a specialized training support program on this topic. This event is organized with the direct sponsorship and professional support of ISRRT, aiming to enhance the capacity and update in-depth knowledge of medical imaging and radiotherapy technicians nationwide.

Dr. Tran Trung Kien, Head of the Oncology Department at Shing Mark University Medical Center, said: "The workshop organized at the hospital provides an opportunity for the hospital's doctors and medical staff to participate."
"After two days of work, we received hands-on guidance from experts on the application of artificial intelligence in radiotherapy for cancer patients. From there, we will be able to apply it to simulate and plan radiotherapy for patients," Dr. Kien emphasized.
This year's conference focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to improve the accuracy and safety of patient treatment. From there, hospitals will develop plans to implement these applications in practice, tailored to their specific needs.
