
Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center prepares forces and vehicles to participate in search and rescue when ordered.
Accordingly, early in the morning of November 10, 2025, storm FUNG-WONG entered the eastern sea area of the North East Sea, becoming storm number 14 in 2025. At 4:00 a.m., the center of the storm was at about 17.3 degrees North latitude; 119.3 degrees East longitude, the strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 13, gusting to level 16, moving in the West Northwest direction at a speed of about 25km/h.
Forecast for the next 24 hours, that is, until 13:00 on November 11, the center of the storm will be at about 20.1 degrees North latitude; 118.0 degrees East longitude, in the sea area east of the North East Sea. Due to the influence of the storm, the sea area east of the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 8 - 10, near the center of the storm level 11 - 13, gusts of level 16, waves 5 - 8m high, near the center of the storm 8 - 10m, rough seas.
Implementing the Official Dispatch No. 29/CD-BCĐ-BNNMT dated November 10, 2025 of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee, in order to proactively and promptly respond to storms, the Ministry of Construction requests the Vietnam Maritime Electronic Information Company Limited: Direct the Coastal Information Station system to monitor, update, process information and promptly notify the location, developments and direction of the storm so that vehicles, ship captains and boats operating at sea can proactively avoid, escape or not move into dangerous areas.
The Vietnam Maritime and Waterways Administration is responsible for directing Maritime Port and Inland Waterways Authorities to continuously monitor the developments and movement of storms to notify and guide ships when granting permission to leave port;
Count and strictly manage sailing activities, maintain regular contact with vessels operating in the storm-affected area, including transport vessels and tourist vessels, to promptly handle bad situations that may occur; Check and guide anchoring at ports, especially anchoring areas around islands.

The Ministry of Construction requires agencies and units to seriously organize on-duty shifts and report to the Ministry of Construction's Civil Defense Command.
