(NLĐO) - After finding a strange bottle, two sisters thought it was soda and opened it to drink. As a result, both were hospitalized in critical condition.
On February 2nd (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year of the Snake), information from Yen Thanh District General Hospital ( Nghe An province) indicated that they had just admitted two children from the area suspected of being poisoned by rat poison.

According to information from the patient's family, on the morning of the same day, PVK (4 years old) and his older sister PTH (9 years old, both residing in Phuc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) went to the rice field with their mother.
While their mother was working, the H. sisters found a strange pink bottle. Thinking it was soda, both sisters opened it and drank. Just a few minutes later, the two sisters suffered convulsions and their bodies turned purple.
Upon discovering the incident, relatives immediately took the two children to Yen Thanh District General Hospital for emergency treatment, where they were in a state of pale skin, vomiting, and convulsions.
After initial treatment, both were transferred to a provincial hospital for further emergency care in critical condition.
