The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee receives donations from Son Thuy commune to support people in Central and Central Highlands regions.

On the morning of December 11th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province organized a ceremony to receive donations from the Party Committee, government, and people of Son Thuy commune, Tuyen Quang province, to support people in Central and Central Highlands regions.

In response to the severe damage caused by storms and floods to the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions, and in support of the "All people support the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions in overcoming the consequences of floods" campaign launched by the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, after a short period of campaigning and mobilization, with a spirit of sharing and mutual support, cadres, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups in Son Thuy commune actively donated a total of 376,900,000 VND.

At the handover ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, Mr. Nguyen Viet Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, stated: Recently, people in the Central and Central Highlands regions have been struggling to cope with exceptionally heavy rains and floods, causing severe damage to lives and property. The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the concern, sharing, solidarity, and mutual assistance shown by the people and officials of Son Thuy commune towards those affected by natural disasters and calamities. He also affirmed that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will promptly allocate and transfer all the donated funds to the affected localities, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives and restore production as soon as possible.
