According to Mr. Pham Ngoc Mau, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department and Head of the South-South Working Group, Vietnam is always ready to cooperate and send its best agricultural experts to Angola to develop and implement projects.
"We are ready to share our experience in sustainable agricultural development with Angola, specifically the model that Vietnam has been implementing with several African countries recently to ensure food security, when Angola makes a request and is ready to meet the conditions," he said.
Specifically, he suggested that the two sides could launch programs for exchanging experts and technicians, perfecting technological processes, and providing agricultural extension services to develop sustainable agriculture and forestry through the development of raw material areas, smart farming, and high-quality plant varieties.
Secondly, Vietnam is ready to receive and train technical staff, students, or young entrepreneurs from Angola in fields such as smart agriculture, cooperative management, digital technology application, and product traceability.
Thirdly, it is proposed that Angola share priorities for agricultural cooperation, particularly the potential for coordinated implementation of initiatives within the framework of South-South cooperation and trilateral cooperation, with the support of development partners.

This clearly affirms Vietnam's role and commitment to the international community in promoting cooperation and supporting food security, especially for African countries.
Fourth, Vietnam is ready to support Angola in developing a comprehensive technical assistance project to promote the sustainable development of the agriculture and forestry sector in Angola, contributing to Angola's economic diversification efforts and enhancing national food security.
Dr. Anderson Jerónimo highly appreciated the visit of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment with its practical contents, and affirmed that Angola is always ready to receive proposals for agricultural cooperation from Vietnam. “We will send a delegation to conduct field surveys with the Vietnamese side to investigate and research the potential for cooperation and develop feasible project proposals in the near future,” Dr. Anderson said.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to report to the two Ministers on the agreements reached today regarding the proposed agricultural cooperation project, as a basis for early implementation in 2026.
